The Safe Work Breakfast is sponsored by the QLD Government and MAIN. It provides the foundation for Safe Work Week and is a fantastic industry incentive.
Dave was also privileged enough to receive a training session with QLD great Mal Meninga in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
After that the boys enjoyed breakfast while listening to the presenters, Including Mal Meninga and Kerry McTaggart. There were some valuable lessons on Welding and Electrical Safety, and some hard lessons on what it means to lose a loved one at work.
Safety has always been our number one priority at Airconstruct, we take it so seriously we even created an app to manage our in house safety. Through solid procedures and policy’s, the latest P.P.E., up to date information and staff commitment. We have one of the lowest work place incident rates in the country. This is one of our proudest achievements and we feel no shame sharing it with the world.
The Airconstruct family are looking forward to the staff BBQ to coincide with Safe Work week (21st – 27th October). While putting on a large spread in a relaxed environment there will also be the obligatory speeches and presentation to celebrate another year of being injury free.
